Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce awards pioneers of digitization

At the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce "creative in the future" award ceremony at the WIFI in St. Poelten, local showcase companies were awarded for outstanding projects. The event focused on digitization.
In the four categories technical innovation, product development and services, crafts and design, and this year for the first time in the apprentice category, 110 projects were submitted. From four to six nominees, a twelve-member jury consisting of representatives from business, from lower Austria and from the New Design University sought a winner. Points were awarded based on the criteria: environment, innovative potential and of particular importance on the local economy. "The digitization affects all of us: in the way we live and primarily how we work. The participants of our competition demonstrates how through openness and innovation future requirements will change. This award recognizes and celebrates progressive leaders." explained Wolfgang Ecker, division chairman of trades and crafts of the Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce . "Our member companies contribute significantly to the success of our business location despite the difficult times . The participants of the competition precede with creativity, innovation and high quality standards. I congratulate all the winners or nominees for their outstanding work, "said Lower Austria Chamber of Commerce President Sonja Zwazl.

Winner in the category of product development and service: Franz Kolar GmbH from Brunn am Gebirge for Dukta - flexible wood acoustic design panel

 Apprentice category: the first place was shared by the apprentices of Pielachtaler Joinery
