The dukta® design panel offers an additional ecological product for interiors, which has a high aesthetic value due to the flexibility of the material and its unique processing, and at the same time has an excellent sound absorption value.
The dukta® panels are based on MDF wood engraved on one or two sides. The flexibility of the panels is achieved through a patented carving technique, and they are particularly suitable for wall and ceiling applications to create continuous surfaces, as well as for self-supporting curved dividers and furniture.
Thanks to their accessibility and transparency, the wooden panels engraved on one or two sides offer great design freedom. Due to the large proportion of open space (15-40% of the total area), the dukta® elements are suitable for use in hiding air conditioning systems and for backlighting. To expand the design and use of its range of Dukta panels and surfaces, Kolar has recently introduced a new customization service: Dukta® Print offers the ability to have a digitally printed surface on all four types of panel.
The basic material is MDF natural or black, plywood or three-ply spruce panel.
